Sevan Tekian is the principal of Tek Design Inc. based in New York and New Jersey. Tek Design delivers a wide range of architectural and interior design projects in high end residential, ground-up homes, additions and restorations, apartment renovations.

Ms. Tekian has gained significant experience working at several firms, Dar Al-Handasah (Shair and Partners), a global Architectural and Engineering firm, from 1981 to 1983 in Lebanon and England, at HOK, Hellmuth, Obata and Kassabaum, and with prominent New York architects and designers, Alan Wanzenberg and the late Jed Johnson, Michael La Rocca, and Boris Baranovich. Sevan was the head of the architecture department at Michael La Rocca ltd. Ms. Tekian launched her practice in 2000, was the co-founder of the firm Tekian Sobash Inc., and later in 2004 she founded Tek Design Inc. (TDI).

Tek Design's style covers; classically influenced to contemporary, detail oriented custom residential architecture and interiors. Sevan Tekian applies her knowledge of fine detailing into custom furniture, many of her one of a kind designed furniture are at corporations and private residences.
